ALTHOUGH fuel prices have been rising continuously for the past few months, the pump prices of both grades of petrol have decreased by 25 lisente per litre as of Monday.

Thato Mohasoa, the Executive Secretary of Petroleum Fund, an organisation that is charged with ensuring the security of supply of petroleum products said the pump price of illuminating paraffin will also be decreased by 10 lisente per litre while the pump price of diesel will remain unchanged.

Lebohang Makhoali, the Operations Manager of Petroleum Fund said fuel prices were decreased based on the world market which forced them to go down.

He therefore urged petrol stations to comply since they always get information from Petroleum Fund.
