MASERU - The Minister of Trade and Industry Halebonoe Setšabi has strongly appealed to businesses which will be operating during the lockdown period not to inflate prices of commodities.

Setšabi further urged the businesses to stock enough goods to sustain the public during this trying time.

“We all know that the Coronavirus has badly affected both the global and Lesotho’s economy, hence with the lockdown, things will soon become worse,” the minister also said.

He was, however, quick to add that it was imperative for businesses to ensure that consumers' rights are not violated.
He thanked all businesses that contributed in the fight against the spread of the virus, appealing for their continued support.
