BASOTHO National Party (BNP)’s ’Machere Seutloali is expected to be sworn in as a new member of parliament on September 10

The Clerk of the National Assembly, King’s Counsel Lebohang Maema said he has already notified Ms Seutloali about the move, as she is the next person on the party list from the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).
“We always keep all the Proportional Representation (PR) party lists from IEC in order to know when this kind of situation happens,'' he explained.

KC Maema said Ms Seutloali is going to fill the vacancy left by the former Minister of Small Business Development, Cooperatives and Marketing, Chief Thesele 'Maseribane who has resigned to take up a new assignment as Lesotho’s ambassador to Italy. LeNA
