THE Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) has warned the nation of an extremely cold front expected to pass over the country starting from Saturday.

This is according to a media statement issued by the Acting Director of LMS, Mokoena France.
“Cold weather conditions are anticipated from Saturday into Sunday night countrywide.
“The weather condition is also expected to be accompanied by a possibility of snowfall over the high-lying areas and a widespread of rainfall also expected,” Mr France also said.
For his part, the Butha-Buthe District Administrator, Tšepa Chaba said the ’Moteng Pass is so far still accessible, however warning the nation to take necessary precautions during this period.
