Kamoli to have his day in court on Tuesday
Former army boss Lt Gen Tlali Kamoli
Among others, Kamoli is accused of the June 25, 2015 murder of his successor Lt Gen Maaparankoe Mahao who was allegedly gunned down execution style on his way from his home village Mokema, on the outskirts of Maseru.
He is also charged with several attempted murder counts related to the January 2014 bombings of the residences of the former First Lady ’Maesaiah Thabane and the then police chief Khothatso Tšooana.

He charged together with fellow soldiers including Major Pitso Ramoepane, Captain Litekanyo Nyakane, Corporal Mohlalefi Seitlheko and Sergeant Heqoa Malefetsane.
Justice Charles Hungwe presides over the case, which is prosecuted by Advocate ’Naki Nku.
