listen nowPolice reports show that the 24 year-old suspect immediately fled the scene to a nearby cattle post after he realised that he had been identified by some of the victim’s neighbours.
According to Superintendent (Supt) Moeketsi Makatsela of the Thaba Tseka Police, the woman had raised alarm as the suspect tried to sexually force himself on her and she somehow managed to escape from him unscathed.

“The suspect thereafter disappeared to a nearby cattle post but the villagers who were looking for him caught him later that night and brought him to the police station. He will remain in custody until he appears in court when all investigations have been finalised,” Supt Makatsela said. LeNA
