THE Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) says there is a slight chance of snowfall expected in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

According to a statement from LMS, a light to moderate north-westerly becoming strong at times is generally expected.

It says maximum temperatures are expected to range between 14°C and 26°C, while minimum temperatures are expected to range between 0°C and 14°C in the lowlands.
It notes that in the highlands, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 4°C and 23°C while minimum temperatures will range between -5°C and 9°C.
The statement further shows that this forecast period is characterised by partly cloudy and slightly warm weather conditions, however, cool to cold weather conditions can be anticipated later on Tuesday.

The LMS was formed in 1974 as a division within the Department of Hydrology and Meteorological services.
