AMAZULU FC have made a decision to part ways with coach Benni McCarthy, the Siya crew can reveal.

According to Siya sources, the decision comes on the back of a disappointing campaign, after the Usuthu finished second on the log last term.

The AmaZulu management is understood to have expressed its displeasure with the club's current form, with McCarthy vocal in the media about selection struggles.

McCarthy was appointed in December 2020 and after a promising maiden campaign, there were high expectations for the KZN outfit.

The contract of the Cape Town-born mentor was set to run until June 2023, while Vasili Manousakis, Moeneeb Josephs and Siyabonga Nomvethe are understood to remain with the club until the end of the season.

The Siya crew has it on good authority that McCarthy has already informed the players of his exit, with an announcement by the club expected soon. Soccer Laduma
