The 29-year-old, who is part of the Likuena provisional squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations back-to-back qualifier against Benin, said he has no regrets about his two-year spell in Limpopo with Black Leopards.
Bereng made 19 appearances for Leopards in all competitions this past season, providing two assists and netting just once.
“I’m in my third week of pre-season with the new club and everything has gone well up to so far. I’m settling well and cannot complain,” Bereng told Metro.
“The goal for the upcoming season is to help the club win promotion to the premier leagues.”
Bereng, who has won eight caps since making his debut against Cape Verde in 2018, stated that he doesn’t see leaving the premier league outfit for the lower divisions as a step backwards.
