The police said the three male suspects were arrested last night at their homes in Bloemfontein.
Bester escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Facility in May last year after faking his death.
The three men are expected to appear at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the main case against Bester has been postponed to August for further investigations.
Bester appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court virtually on Tuesday morning.

His attorneys, Advocate Tsoeunyane Pela as well as instructing Attorney Tshireledzo Ndou, withdrew from the case, as Bester appointed Kabelo Matee as his new lawyer.
