THE Ministry of Social Development has added three more beneficiaries from Leribe schools in its Child Grant Programme, the Senate was told on Wednesday.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Machesetsa Mofomobe who was standing in for the Minister of Social Development said the needy learners are from the Malaoaneng Primary School and Malefane Combined School.
The three he said are part of the other eight who are already in the programme.

“The children have also been assisted with food parcels during this time when the country is faced with a serious hunger crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic,” Mr Mofomobe also said.
The Senate resumed its sitting on Tuesday after it broke off for the winter vacation in July.
