SOUTH African singer, Kelly Khumalo opened up about her late ex-boyfriend and “baby daddy” – former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa on the first episode of season three of her reality show – Life With Kelly Khumalo.

The Empini hitmaker and Senzo have a daughter named Thingo together. Thingo was conceived while Senzo was married to Mandisa Mkhize. Senzo was said to have been killed in a botched robbery at Kelly’s mom’s house in Vosloorus on October 26, 2014 – when Thingo was just three months old.

The singer opened up about Senzo and his family on the first episode of season three of her reality show. Kelly started speaking about how Senzo’s mom wanted to get rid of her with a witch doctor. 

“That family did not love Senzo. They never loved him, he was the cash cow. You know the first thing that, that women said when Senzo passed on? She said who is going to feed us. Your son is dead, the only thing you are thinking about is food,” she said.

THE SINGER ON ‘TAKING CARE OF SENZO’

Kelly claimed that she would financially take care of Senzo while he was giving his family his money. She also implied that his family has used her money before without knowing.

“He would use all his money and give it to the family and be left broke every month and I would personally take care of him. You know the worst thing, they (Senzo’s family) don’t know that they have had my money before,” she said.
