NEWLY appointed Linare FC head coach Tebogo Moloi finally registered his first three points since taking over the reins at Tse-Tala with a 3-2 narrow victory over CCX at the weekend.

The former Orlando Pirates assistant coach lost his two first matches to Lioli and LDF respectively, but was all smiles this weekend as a brace from Jerry Kamela and a goal from Norman Kumatse handed him all the three points in the Vodacom Premier league match played at the Maputsoe DIFA Ground.

Tse-Tala invested hugely on new players before the start of the new season, bringing back the likes of Mabuti Potloane and Jerry Kamela and also signed former Liphakoe midfielder, Tšeole Ranthimo.

Elsewhere at the weekend, defending champions Bantu and Matlama maintained their impressive start to the new campaign with victories over Lijabatho and LMPS respectively.

Litšepe Marabe and Lazola Jokojokwane scored the two goals as A- Matšo-Matebele clinched their third victory in a row while Phafa Tšosane netted the solitary goal to hand Tse-Putsoa all the three points against the police outfit.

LCS have also won all their opening three matches following a hard fought 1-0 victory over Likhopo FC at the LCS Ground on Saturday and sit at the top of the Vodacom Premier League table with nine points.

Kick4life were also the big winners of the weekend matches as the Motebang Makhetha coached side stunned LDF 2-1, courtesy of goals from Zanele Phantse and Moruti Thamahane.

Rookies Manonyane managed to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Matlama in their previous match by beating Sefothafotha 2-0 at the Ratjomose Ground while the match between Lifofane and Lioli that was scheduled for the Botha-Bothe Pitso Ground was washed away by heavy rains.
