Matlama are now on 56 points while Bantu have 43 with two games in hand after their match against Lijabatho was postponed due to heavy rains and an unplayable pitch in Morija.
In other matches played over the weekend, Tšoarelo Mokoaleli scored the only match of the game as LMPS got the better of LDF in another high-profile league match.
